Featuring a carefully curated selection of works created between 2012 and 2026, the publication traces more than a decade of artistic exploration across drawing, painting, sculpture, alternative photography, and paper-based works.

Born and raised in Japan, Hayakawa studied French Literature at Keio University before moving to the United States in 1991 to pursue a life in art. He later earned a BFA from Columbus College of Art and Design and an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art. Today, he teaches at CCAD and exhibits internationally.

At the heart of the book is his acclaimed Vanitas series, a powerful meditation on mortality, impermanence, beauty, and decay. Through intricate lines, organic structures, and symbolic forms, Hayakawa creates images that are both delicate and unsettling.

Beautifully designed and made to be treasured, this collectible edition is an essential addition for art lovers, collectors, curators, and admirers of meticulous, thought-provoking work.

Brett Andrus: Love letters to the ghosts in my blood

This international monograph brings together a selection of key works by Colorado-born figurative painter Brett Andrus, whose practice explores memory, vulnerability, transformation, and psychological tension.

Blending traditional figurative painting with magical realism, symbolism, and surreal atmosphere, Andrus creates ambiguous worlds where the familiar and the uncanny coexist.

The book also offers an intimate insight into the personal experiences that transformed his relationship with painting. Following a battle with leukemia and complications that nearly cost him his eyesight, Andrus returned to the studio with a renewed sense of gratitude and purpose.

Featuring selected works and personal reflections, this monograph presents the artistic journey of a painter whose work is defined by resilience, emotional depth, and the transformative power of painting.

Published internationally by The Guide Artists.

This book presents a selection of paintings by Polish artist Kamila Gruszecka, whose work explores identity, memory, womanhood, and the emotional experiences that shape our lives. Through intimate and poetic compositions, she invites viewers into a world where symbolism and personal experience merge, transforming everyday moments into reflections on human existence.

The women who inhabit these pages are not portraits of specific individuals but emotional landscapes, carrying stories of love, loss, transformation, and self-discovery. Each painting becomes an invitation to pause, contemplate, and connect with the universal questions that define who we are.

More than a collection of artworks, this book is a journey through the inner world of an artist who understands painting as an act of searching, where every answer gives rise to new questions and every image preserves a fragment of human experience.
