This June marks one of the most anticipated releases of the summer: a new publication dedicated to the work of Daria Kropacheva, presented by The Guide Artists. This editorial project brings together years of close collaboration with the artist, offering an in-depth look at her career, her symbolic universe, and her unique approach to the human condition.
Born in 1989 in Bender, Moldova, Kropacheva studied at the Bender Art College and later at the Academy of Arts of Moldova, where she completed her studies in easel painting and earned a master’s degree with honors. From the beginning, her artistic practice has been grounded in a strong academic foundation that continuously engages in dialogue with a contemporary sensibility.
Her work exists at the intersection of realism and symbolism. Through a careful focus on anatomy, movement, and the expressive potential of the human body, she constructs compositions rich in meaning. The nude figure, presented without artifice, becomes an intimate visual language that directly engages the viewer.
Each painting opens the door to multiple interpretations. Rather than imposing a single narrative, Kropacheva creates emotional and symbolic scenarios that invite the viewer to complete the work through their own perspective. Emotions, human actions, and social references intertwine within a visual universe that is both poetic and thought-provoking.
This book not only documents her artistic evolution but also celebrates a relationship built on trust, collaboration, and creative commitment—resulting in a unique editorial project. It confirms the coherence, depth, and continuous development of an artist who continues to expand her visual language without losing its essence.
