The Guide Artists is proud to present a new publication dedicated to Polish artist Kamila Gruszecka, a painter whose work explores the female experience, motherhood, identity, and the relationship between the body and emotion with remarkable sensitivity and depth. The book brings together a carefully curated selection of her most representative works, offering readers the opportunity to discover the evolution of an artist who has developed a distinctive voice within contemporary figurative painting.
Born in Kielce, Poland, in 1989, Kamila Gruszecka studied Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków under the supervision of Professor Leszek Misiak, earning her diploma in 2014. Her artistic practice encompasses painting, drawing, and textile art, disciplines through which she has developed a visual language centered on the representation of the female body.
The figures that inhabit her canvases are far more than portraits or anatomical studies. They become spaces for reflection, where the artist projects personal concerns related to femininity, motherhood, vulnerability, and strength. Her women appear natural, sensitive, and complex—free from conventional stereotypes and imbued with a powerful psychological presence.
This new publication from The Guide Artists offers an exceptional opportunity to enter Gruszecka’s creative universe. Through high-quality reproductions and a thoughtfully designed editorial presentation, the book reveals both the technical richness of her painting and the conceptual depth that defines her artistic practice.
More than a monograph, this publication is an invitation to engage with an artistic vision that transforms personal experience into a broader reflection on the human condition. For collectors, artists, and admirers of contemporary figurative painting, Kamila Gruszecka’s book is an essential addition to any art library.
