He is a Spanish painter born in 1978. A self-taught artist, he has dedicated more than 15 years exclusively to painting—most of that time working from his studio in Arequipa, where he has continuously refined his technique and developed his unique approach to painting. His learning process is ongoing, fueled primarily by his admiration for both the Old Masters and contemporary artists. He studies their works in depth, analyzing their processes to better understand the essence of each piece. His artistic influences have evolved over the years alongside his own creative growth.

Valued at over €18,000, the prize includes an exclusive publishing contract with The Guide Artists and a solo exhibition at MEAM – the European Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona, one of the world’s most respected institutions dedicated to figurative art.
But this is more than just a prize. It is a gesture of respect. A tribute to those who paint with honesty, who spend years developing their voice, and who still believe in the power of human expression through the figure.
