Looking beyond the facade

Philipp Weber’s hyperrealistic paintings explore the complex emotions hidden beneath the surface—life and death, desire and fear, loyalty and betrayal. Weber’s work provokes deep reflection on existential questions.

This book highlights several of Weber’s most renowned painting series, including Black Poison-Series, Bless-Series, Creatura-Series, Mercy-Series, New Birth-Series, The Dew-Series, The Queen-Series, and The Rivals-Series. Each of these series offers a unique exploration of the human condition, encouraging viewers to engage with the artworks on a profound level.

Born in Rostock, Germany, in 1974, Weber’s artistic talent was discovered and nurtured early in his life. He pursued his studies in Kassel before earning his master’s degree at the University of the Arts in Berlin. Today, his work is exhibited internationally and draws significant attention at major art fairs. Weber was also part of the prestigious IBEX Collection Master program.
