ART AS A POSITIVE REFUGE

JENNIFER GÓMEZ | Co-Founder The Guide Artists

Sometimes the world seems to move too fast. Uncertainty, anxiety, and the constant rhythm of everyday life can easily overwhelm us. In the middle of that noise, art appears as a refuge: a place where we can breathe, pause for a moment, and reconnect with something deeper within ourselves.

This month we celebrate painting as that vibrant and protective space. Color, light, and form have the power to move us, to slow our thoughts, and to remind us that wonder still exists. Each artwork becomes a small pause in the day, an invitation to look carefully, to imagine freely, and to rediscover the quiet pleasure of contemplation.

Positive art does not mean ignoring the complexities of the world. On the contrary, it reminds us that beauty, hope, and calm can still be found even in uncertain times. A canvas filled with luminous color, a composition that transports the viewer, or a brushstroke that unexpectedly sparks a smile can transform a simple moment into something meaningful.

Painting has always had that quiet power. It creates spaces where emotion and imagination meet, where the viewer is invited not only to observe but to feel. In front of a painting, time seems to slow down. We begin to notice details, gestures, textures, and atmospheres that gently pull us away from the urgency of daily life.

Artists understand this deeply. Through their work they translate inner worlds into images that others can share. Their paintings become bridges between experiences, memories, and emotions that might otherwise remain unspoken. In that exchange between artist and viewer, something essential happens: a moment of connection.

March is the perfect time to allow painting to envelop us, to dive into its worlds, and to rediscover the sense of wonder we sometimes forget. Because even when everything feels chaotic, art reminds us that there is always light, possibility, and new ways to see the world.

For Artists
A platform designed for visibility

RAMÓN A.OLIVARES | Founder The Guide Artists

The art market grows every day: auctions, digital platforms, global collectors. With this expansion comes a growing tendency to measure artworks by their price rather than by their essence. In this environment, many artists face an important dilemma: how to stand out without losing their creative voice.

The Guide Artists was created to offer a clear alternative. Our mission is to promote artists, give their work meaningful visibility, and connect artworks with people who truly value creativity without allowing the market alone to define their worth. Our magazine and platform do more than present art. They open a space to discover processes, share ideas, and foster conversations that reach far beyond numbers.

Today, art is often viewed through the lens of economic gain. Metrics, prices, and marketing strategies can easily dominate the conversation. Yet what truly matters in art cannot be quantified: emotion, reflection, and the capacity to inspire, challenge, and move the viewer.

At The Guide Artists, we believe that promoting art should never mean inflating expectations or reducing creativity to speculation. It means giving authentic voices the visibility they deserve while respecting the integrity of each work. Art is not simply something to buy. It is something to experience, to contemplate, and to share.

While others focus on selling, we continue building bridges between artists and audiences, defending what cannot be priced: passion, critical thought, and the profound emotion that art can awaken.

Issue 83 / March 9, 2026 . Print Version

Issue 83 of The Guide Artists was released on March 9, featuring Daniel Pawłowski on the cover.

Daniel’s connection with painting begins at an early age under the guidance of master Waldemar Biliński. After years exploring different artistic paths, he ultimately finds his most personal expression in oil on canvas. His work is shaped by portrait painting, the study of the great masters, and his academic training at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, where he specializes in Art Conservation.

His paintings reveal a careful technique and a strong respect for the tradition of figurative painting.
